As of this year, I am a 12 year (left side) and 2 year (right side) Triple Negative breast cancer survivor. I didn’t find out until after a second genetics test, 8 years after the first, that I am also BRCA1 positive. It through me for a loop but answered a lot of questions. I try my best to not only advocate for myself but advocate for who those who look like me, who need a shoulder or an ear, or a voice. I have been and am a part of a few different breast cancer organizations and continue to do what I can in the fight.
