Tamara is an entrepreneur, health and wellness ambassador, speaker, and author. As an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, Tamara has worked in the public and private sectors and her clients range in various industries from technology to media. Tamara started her own practice when she realized that she needed the flexibility in her schedule to raise her two young girls while fulfilling her philanthropic duties, a passion in which her grandfather instilled. As an author of two children’s books — Hair to the Queen! And Teo the Great — which open the door for families to discuss difficult subjects, Tamara also shares her experiences and knowledge in her monthly blog, A Cup of T , offering quick tips for self-care and self-fulfillment, especially for on-the-go women. Serving as a board member on several local organizations, Tamara contributes her time focusing on areas including: strengthening South Florida’s Haitian community, breast cancer research, and creating diverse and inclusive initiatives in schools. Tamara is also a founding member of A Day with Santa, a not-for-profit organization that raises funds and distributes toys to over 5,000 underprivileged Haitian children annually. Moreover, Tamara is an impact speaker and continues to work closely with Baptist Health of South Florida and Miami Cancer Institute as an ambassador raising awareness, and bridging the gap, when it comes to cultural disparities and the misinformation surrounding cancer care. With her family at the core of everything she does, Tamara lives with her husband, two beautiful girls and Perry, their Australian Labradoodle in South Florida, yet enjoys spending time working on anything that benefits her mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
