Meet Perky, a new, female-owned business in San Antonio, TX. Perky is a first-of-its-kind medical spa, catered to those affected by breast cancer. The business was founded in 2020 by a team of two registered nurses specializing in modern rehabilitation techniques, like medical micro-pigmentation, which includes 3D nipple tattooing.

Founder, Crystal Yang, and co-founder Courtney Delgado, who have 10+ years of experience serving
breast cancer patients, realized they had more to give to the community. Yang joined forces with Delgado to create Perky, aimed at helping the breast cancer community thrive in the aftermath of chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical procedures. “Our focus is ultimately the woman behind the tumor,” said Yang. Together, they have performed 100’s of restorative tattooing services, with a particular aptitude for 3D and 4D nipple tattooing.

According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, breast cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed female cancer, with 1 in 8 women being affected. Despite this statistic, more and more women are surviving this disease. Perky’s mission is to restore beauty, confidence, and quality of life for all affected by breast cancer.

From the moment they opened their doors, Perky’s goal is to give back to the community. In fact,
for the month of October, Perky provided one pro bono restorative nipple tattoo each week. The medi-spa recently launched its first round of merchandise, where a portion of proceeds went to a local breast cancer non-profit organization, Overcomers.
