Testimonials
Cancer came to my life unexpectedly and I felt that I had no control over anything. I felt like the world was on my shoulders….all of it! I quickly realized that I had to be stronger for my son, my family. They were there for me and it was the least I could do. I will never say that the internal fight with emotions is over. I still struggle. It’s not easy, but the 1st thing to do is know what you are fighting for. If not for yourself, then who. The tricky thing is that you cannot help anyone if you don’t try to help yourself first. BRCASTRONG has been for me to help me be better at helping myself to help others. Everyone has a different story to tell, but we are all BRCASTRONG

My name is Yesenia I am currently 49 years old. Seven years ago I was diagnosed with a triple negative invasive carcinoma breast cancer. I underwent 8 months of chemo and 13 rounds of high boost radiation.
I had an invasive bilateral mastectomy immediately due to the fact that I had 5 malignant tumors and under the risk of possible metastasis. This was one of the 14 major surgeries I’ve had to undergo throughout this journey.
It has not been easy but for God nothing is impossible! My faith and the love for my son have been my strength! Unfortunately three years ago I was diagnosed with lupus and presently under treatment for that! But giving up is not an option!
In the midst of my journey I met Tracy and was introduced to her organization BRCASTRONG! It has been my me of the many blessings my Lord has granted me! She has been of huge support to me, but most of all she’s my friend!
To all of you out there going through this journey, I can only say HOLD ON TO THE GOD!!! He is always faithful!! And NEVER LOOSE FAITH!
-Yesenia
