Dr. Michael J. Stein is a plastic surgeon in Manhattan completing a breast reconstruction fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital and a Master’s degree in patient safety and healthcare quality at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Stein is a frequent speaker and presenter at national and international conferences and has authored numerous articles published in scholarly journals. His research focus is on optimizing outcomes in patients undergoing mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Dr. Stein has a particular interest in studying ways to improve pain and patient satisfaction while reducing opioid use and hospital length-of-stay following breast reconstruction.
